Engage with our Developmental Educator (DE), Nadia, who offers allied health therapeutic supports for school aged children, youth, and adults with disability.

DEs address developmental, learning and behavioural challenges by teaching skills and strategies that are evidence-based. This supports participants to improve or maintain their functional capacity in areas which are specific to the individual's goals.
​
Nadia has experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), anxiety, intellectual disability (ID), various syndromes such as Tourette syndrome (TS), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning disorders including dyslexia.​
Developmental Education Therapeutic support is offered in the following settings

Our DE supports individuals in developing functional skills, strategies and awareness across the following areas:

Mindfulness. Holistic Skills that promotes mental, emotional and physical well.

Communication Skills. Developing meaningful, respectful communication and functional communication/behaviour functional skills.

Social Skills. Emotional regulation, play skills, self-awareness, interpersonal relationships, executive functioning and social communication.

Daily Living and Life skills. Managing daily activities such as shopping, cleaning, meal preparation, budgeting, technology uses, social media safety.

Community Access Skills. Road safety, public transport training, and risk awareness.

Sensory Awareness. Understanding and managing sensory processing needs.

Goal setting. Helping individuals identify and achieve their personal goals.

Life Stage Planning and Transitions. Preparing for key transitions and life stages.

Disability Advocacy. Support with NDIS, education, or other areas of concern.
