BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT

Behaviour Support (also known as Positive Behaviour Support, or PBS) is an NDIS-funded service that focuses on understanding why behaviours of concern occur, and developing practical, person-centred strategies to improve safety, independence and quality of life.
Delivered by a registered NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner, our approach identifies the underlying needs and environmental factors driving behaviour, then builds functional skills, communication and support strategies that reduce risk and improve daily functioning. This includes reducing and eliminating restrictive practices, and creating consistent, supportive environments across home, school and community settings.
